I am going into this weekend with somewhat apprehension of how it will turn out. Hopefully all the bad events have filed themselves out and are done.

First of all, yesterday, Mom and Annie got into a car accident and (it looks like) totalled the truck. Thankfully, both of them are okay, if anything a little sore. Mom is a bit bruised up she says (and sore) but both are okay.

Secondly, Felix's sister had a miscarriage somewhere between yesterday morning and yesterday evening. She is completely heartbroken (of course).

So that seems to be two major events that normally would happen with a little more spacing. I'm in the paranoid frame of mind and a little worried that the friends that we have coming down tonight for the weekend will not be having a good trip. I am crossing my fingers.

Bailey is good, however, if a little fussy every now and then. I think she likes to toy with daddy when he gets home. Felix likes to stay up until about six or seven in the morning after working all night. I had to take a shower and run an errand at the grocery store today so he had to watch Bailey.

She, of course, was crying when I got out of the shower and he was still dead asleep (with the monitor on right next to him) in our bed. So he decided to sleep in Annie's bed while I went to the grocery store and apparently, she didn't go to sleep the whole time I was gone.

Maybe it's her way of telling Daddy he needs to go to bed earlier than that. He's going to have to if he means to help me with Annie and Bailey.
