Man... babies have some great toys. I bought the playmat and remembered that Annelise's swing was in the hall closet last night. She's not really too impressed with the mat yet, but we haven't really played with it. So anyway, I took out her swing and bought some new batteries for it. She was whining (and it was a "play with me" whine, not one of those, "feed me" things after I changed her this morning, so I brought her downstairs and put her in her swing. She is SO interested in that thing. I'm glad I went to try it out last night because I was told you shouldn't put a newborn in a travel swing 'cause their head will flop around... lucky me, I have one that leans back and was designed for newborn babies to nine month olds.
Anyway, we have to move again. :( Sucks but hopefully this is the last time for a while. The place we're moving to supposedly doesn't have that rule about having to move out in 72 hours if you're an employee. Our rent's cheaper, though, so that will be good...
I have an interview tomorrow at 5:30pm. I tried to go to a couple places I KNOW aren't really that busy during the holiday season, seems like there would be a lot less stress as well.
Going over to mom's house today to go through Christmas ornaments and stuff. She absolutely adores Annelise. I wasn't sure how she would feel before, but now I have no doubt about it, if she could see her everyday, that would be fine with her I'm sure... as long as she was able to give her right back.
Switched formulas to Enfamil Lipil with Iron because the pediatrician wouldn't approve her Similac. Just as well, though, I could tell the difference between the formulas as soon as I opened the can. Maybe Similac wasn't the greatest thing in the world... She's all ready up to eating 4-5 ounces now... definitely makes me think about how chubby she's going to end up because our friend's baby is eating 6 ounces and she'll be 3 months old the day after Annelise is a month old... Big Chunky and Little Chunky.
