Chopper's (formerly or also known as Pinky) first tooth came "above ground" for it's first appearance last Tuesday, June 13th. I have been trying to teach her to bite daddy but to no avail. Anyways... I forgot to call for father's day, dad, so HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I was working all day anyway.... :(
My phone got slobbered on to no end so it's been vibrating nonstop. So if you guys can't get ahold of me on my phone, try the home phone.
Nothing else to report so see ya later!

If you guys haven't guessed by now, I've spent a little time scanning in some photos I had here at home onto the computer. Some OLD photos like when Jeremy was 13 and had a rattail and when Ryan was younger and was in Boy Scouts. You can check 'em out and if you forgot the location address it's: photos.yahoo.com/babyksay.
By the way, Dad... you said you needed the photo of you and which one of us standing together? The only one I have is of you and me, did you need the one of Jeremy and you....?

Okay, so guess who decided they were going to call it a late night after mommy had to watch four other kids today? At least it wasn't all day, but usually Annie and I take a nap right after she gets up in the morning, so I didn't get one. I tried during her afternoon nap, but that didn't work out so well either.
Been writing all I can on the book. Up to twenty-something pages. Nearing thirty, I know that. Twenty-eight or something I think. I'm just tired. Unbelievably so for some reason, who knows.
We're going over to John and Rachel's tomorrow. Felix is making enchiladas and I have to make my spanish rice to go with it. I'm hoping that I can get a nap tomorrow sometime between watching both babies, but who knows. Last time I wasn't able to, but today they both fell asleep for naps within minutes of each other.
Ick.
Anyway, as promised, here's more from the book....
The city of Triston was a place of peace that had an ethereal feel all its own. Sweet summer days blew by without care as children ran through the field on the outskirts of town. Blossoms from the trees fluttered on the breeze just by the cliffs where they often played. It was a favorite spot of all the villagers, children and adults, lovers and loners; they were all the same here. Many a day was spent lazing about, watching the tides below fade in and fade out with a spray that sprinkled mist high into the fresh air.
That day was no different from any other. White clouds made of soft white feathers breezed by in a heavenly, crystal blue sky. Jazel and Ulysses often watched their son and daughter play with the children of their people, allowing them to live an unspoiled life as they sat beneath the cherry tree. Ulysses leaned against the trunk of the tree, watching their children running through the field in an exuberant game. Jazel was no stranger to the sport, however, and always seemed to join in, somehow always ending in a pile somewhere in the middle of it all.
He shook his head, beaming a bright beacon of a smile. Since he had married and come to the world of Tearent, Ulysses had lived everyday as though it were his last one. It was a life that anyone mortal would hope to live; without care and without trouble.
Unfortunately and unbeknownst to any of them, that would be their last day together. Stolen away in the middle of the night, the prince and princess of Omegan were not seen again by their mother or father.
Ulysses went mad with the idea that some one was out for revenge. What had he done? On the defensive, Ulysses prepared himself should anything more happen and with the loss of her children so easily, Jazel stole away in hiding and refused to come from her chambers. Only once a day did she take consultation with her trusted servant, Isabel. Her husband was truly the only one she would confide in, though much was not said.
It wasn’t long before a raid was conducted on the city of Triston, courtesy of none other than the King of Vellaire himself. They burned the city to the ground, leaving no survivor despite Ulysses’ great attempts to have his soldiers at the ready had failed because he had not foreseen the stealthy night attack. It was more of a warning to other countries than an all out war. It was King Seraph’s personal vendetta. He felt betrayed by Jazel’s marriage even though she had never had her eyes on Seraph to begin with. Rarely did they even consult. Only in the proper country-to-country consultations where her father wished to speak with him would Jazel see King Seraph.
Jazel had thought of King Seraph as quite a handsome man at first, but it was the things he had done and would do for the survival of his people and of himself that really began to turn her away from him. She stopped coming to the conferences, stopped asking her father what the day had brought when he had been in Vellaire. Seraph would always ask of her, but Jazel’s father would quickly turn the subject to things that mattered most. Over time, Jazel grew into an even more beautiful woman and once her father had died, she took over the throne with a new man at her side.
Yes, King Seraph felt quite betrayed. It was these feeling he kept in mind as he broke the door to Jazel and Ulysses’ personal chambers down. The wood fell to the floor in several splintered pieces and neither character could be found. It wasn’t until he’d searched the entire room did he realize that they must be outside. He opened the doors to the balcony set over the cliffs below and looked about.
The darkness had almost hidden her, but the circlet about her head did her no justice in concealing her position. “Ahhh…” He hissed as conversation ensued.
