Finally something new for you guys! So my parents have decided to move about 2 hours away from where they are currently living... or were currently living anyway. So what does that mean? THAT means all those things that those ****ers took from us in Livingston and "got rid of" (including important personal information, old photos, sentimental gifts and even furniture and electronics such as the xbox, Fe's brand new TV and the keyboard he has had for who knows how long) we will be getting from my parents. Thank goodness we don't have to buy it because they are giving us some really good quality things. (A roll top desk, a console and coffee table, a room divider, bookshelves, filing cabinets, an entryway coat/seat storage kind of thing... I don't know the right term for it... along with other household things like pots and pans, bakeware, pillows, etc...) Anyway... whatever they don't get rid of and don't want, they are going to let me sell in a yard sale along with some of the things I've gathered around the house here (some of Aireka's old clothes, Annie's old baby clothes, a box full of toys, a changer that goes over the crib, some of my clothes, her excersaucer, walker, bouncy seat, blankets, some of Felix's old clothes... lots of stuff plus whatever is left in their house they'll let me sell.) So hopefully we can get things back on track again.
It completely sucks because there were some things that really meant a lot to me that they pawned for money. We tried calling them over and over and they never answered the phone. A couple of people have suggested we sue them, but I'm just really ready to be done with it. That's the personal life update on the adult side.
By the way everyone (especially DAD) will be happy to know that I've started taking vitamins everyday... I couldn't tell you why I hadn't done it earlier, I'm starting to feel much better the more regularly that I take them.
Here is the Annie update. YES! She has started potty training and YES! She has done #1 AND #2 in the potty all ready. I have decided to really keep on top of it because I hadn't been and I know that if I do, she will be doing it on her own in no time. She also knows how to wipe herself (lol) but I didn't teach her that. She must have learned from watching.
She is completely enthralled with Blue's Clues and every time we see something Blue related she has hawk eyes and can spot it a mile away. I believe the running total is: 1 coloring book, 4 DvDs, several DVR recordings, and about 5 Blue Stuffed animals... oh and 1 shirt.
Annie has also, as of Sunday night (the 13th), graduated to a toddler bed. We converted her crib (thanks again Dad and Cath for supplying us with a gift card that bought such a great bed!) into her toddler bed after much searching for the right kind of bolts to do so and she has done very well in it the past couple of nights. She goes to bed in it but only if she's truly tired, otherwise she gets out... and I leave her door cracked so that she can get out of bed and come get me in the morning.
She also has a new LED night light that I bought from Home Depot or Walmart or somewhere that's really great and provides a cool color light show for her while she's going to sleep. She also has some new clothes (2T to 4T to grow into, although 3T is the best running size right now I think), 3 pair of shorts, 3 shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 new pair of sandals, 1 bucket hat with the Backyardigans (another show she loves) on it and 2 dresses I think is the running total.
Annie loves to play outside but I still haven't been able to get her the convertible tricycle I've wanted to get her from Walmart yet so we mainly blow bubbles or play with her rainbow ball from Kroger... which she likes to throw in the street and watch me go get.
She likes pickles, cheese crackers and anything that her daddy and I eat. And is learning colors, shapes, and numbers (in spanish) and likes to color.
I think that is about it for now. See ya later!!
